It was bound to happen. Under relentless criticism from Darwin's rottweiler Richard Dawkins -- i.e., ranked by Dawkins as a proponent of the shameful "Neville Chamberlain" school of weak-kneed accomodation to religion -- Michael Ruse has confessed to his secret life of cross-dressing.

Ruse says that since coming out, he feels happy and content. Maybe Dawkins wouldn't be so grumpy if he, too, would show his inner Anglican cleric to the world.
